What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
Question: My Mother was getting repetitive fever (99 to 100 c) and uncozy while urinatiing .after doing urine routine test we found some infection and doctor has given some medicine please find the details of report and medicine . after taking medicine for two days she feel better but today again she got fever 99.4 .now fever is repeating after 2 or 3 hours .from today 7-jan-2016 doctor has given norflox-400)

IN CHEMICAL EXAMINATION ALL WERE NIL
From 5-jan-2016 medicine :
Urmiax :1 after breakfast
stone syrup 1-1-1
diclofenac :1-1-1
After taking the medicine she got relief for two days
Today she again got fever .
when we visited doctor again we checked blood sugar also :
BSR was 199
Doctor has given norflox 400 mg

The treatment is on the right lines. Urinary tract infection or UTI requires prolonged treatment.
I suggest you get a Urine culture test done to see what is the infection and to what antibiotics it will respond to. Meanwhile, continue the Norflox and other medicines. Fever can continue to come for a few days. Dont worry about that.
Also, since the blood sugar was high get a Fasting blood sugar done and a blood test called HbA1C. These will tell whether she is developing Diabetes or not.
Do let me know the results so I can guide you further.
And ensure she drinks a lot of fluids everyday.
