What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Nutrition and diet modification is suggested with clinical examination
Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxx,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.
Page 1 The ESR is mildly increased and this is not significant. This can be slightly increased in normal people and if there is mild infection like cold.
The red blood cell count is in lower limit of normal. Please have nutritious fruits and vegetables in your food.
Hemoglobin is in lower limit of normal. There is hypochromic microcytes, ovalocytes, macrocytes and this can mean that you have iron deficiency or vitamin B12 deficiency. Please get required tests done after discussing with your doctor.

Uric acid is mildly increased. Uric acid can cause kidney stones and gout and many people have increased uric acid without any symptoms. If you do not have any symptoms of kidney stones (pain in kidney area) or gout (pain in joints in foot) then nothing is required. You can try reducing purine protein in foods like mutton, mushrooms, green peas, spinach and cauliflower. Reduce alcohol if you take it regularly.
Total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol are increased to upper limit of normal and HDL is low. Please decrease fatty foods and use olive oil for cooking at home. This will bring your cholesterol to normal levels in 2 to 3 months.
In conclusion, your abnormal variables can be treated with nutrition and life style modification. However if you have any health symptoms then clinical examination is required.
Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
Regards,

Thanks

Please do HbA1c level estimation in blood
Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxx,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
1. If your fasting blood glucose is 113 mg/ dl and post prandial sugar is on higher side then you require a diabetes work up. This includes a glycosylated hemoglobin estimation called HbA1c test and is done in many laboratories. The normal value is below 5.8 and if it is above then you might be diabetic. This is a reliable test and gives accurate information on the average blood glucose value over 3 months. Therefore please consult your doctor and request for a detailed diabetes work up.
Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
Regards,
