What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
Question: I'm having pigmentations patched on face & neck. visibly darker compared to any other locaton of body. tried with several dermatologists in last 4 years but no solution. recently i consulted a homeopathy doctor who adviced to get thyroid test and prescribed below medicines
1 Lachesis 10M 1st and 3rd week monday (once in 15 days)
2 Thuja 10M 2nd and 4th week monday (once in 15 days)
3 Berberis Aquifolium Q 20 drops mix with half cup of water three times in day
4 Chlorelum Hydra 200 6 pills once in day
5 Fagopyrum 200 6 pills once in day
As per that blood test, the results shown as i have hypothyrodism & high cholestrol . So visited a local doctor who has given thyrixine 50mcg & Rosuvastatin tablets to continue with. so, now my question is, while taking these tablets, can I also continue above mentioned homeopathy medicines too?

I have gone very carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Any external agent entering our body can interact with the systems and cause changes that may be desirable or undesirable. In case of most modern medicines there are studies about how such a possible interaction may occur. But studies lack in terms of the drug interactions of homeopathic drugs with one another and also with drugs from other branches of medicine. So, it is hard to comment definitively whether the medicines can be taken simultaneously.
However, based on my understanding of the mechanism of action of thyroxin and rosuvastatin I do not see any problem if the homeopathic medicines are taken together. Thyroxin is a hormone that is normally produced by the body. When the bodily production lacks, it is supplied from outside. So it is hardly something external that could act otherwise. Rosuvastatin on the other hand, impedes the functioning of an enzyme in the cholesterol synthesis pathway of the body. This pathway is unlikely to be linked directly to the ones related to the homeopathic medicines. So, my assumption is that they can be taken together.
