Brief Answer:
Vitamin D is low.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed the reports you attached.
1) Vitamin D is 11.42 ng/ml which is significantly low.
You can take vitamin D3 cholecalciferol in sachets forms 5000 IU per day or 60000IU once a week with glass of water for 4 to 8 weeks. It is available in any nearby pharmacy.
The major cause of vitamin D deficiency could be lack of proper sun exposure or person remains covered throughout the day.
Apart from treatment, you should also have adequate sun light exposure preferably in morning hours around 8 AM for 15 to 20 minutes daily.
2) Your SGPT-80 and SGOT-60 are slightly elevated (but not too high) and they do not have any clinical significance especially in the absence clinical symptoms.
Serum SGPT and SGOT are highly sensitive liver function tests,so they get easily raised following fatty meal or even few alcohol drinks since you are a alcoholic.
But they are NOT dangerous and probably they will come down to normal by themselves within few days or by quitting further alcohol intake.
So,there is NO need to worry about this slight elevation of LFTs.
3) BUN is elevated but serum creatinine (1.57) not much high, clinically we consider up to 2.0 as a normal.
However, the BUN/creatinine ration is normal,so there is no need to worry about any kidney issue.
4) Total iron is marginally high,so no need to worry about it.
From all these reports,I can say that there is NOTHING serious.
But I would suggest you to avoid non-veg foods, oily and fatty meal further.
Also, you should curtain your alcohol intake and complete smoking cessation if you do.
Avoid high protein diet preferably for couple of months and then go for kidney function tests again. Most probably they will come down to normal.
Hope this helps.
