Brief Answer:
anemia

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

your hemoglobin levels are rather low and your MCV accordingly (but not very low). This may mean iron deficiency particularly if you still get your period every month. You can check for that by measuring serum iron, ferritin and sidirofillin (transferrin saturation or TIBC). If the aforementioned tests fail to prove iron deficiency then other causes will have to be investigated.

Iron deficiency has to be further investigated particularly if you have gastrointestinal symptoms or significant family history of colon cancer. But first things first. Checking the iron stores should be the first test to do right now.

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!

I did have my period when I had my blood drawn, I assume that could be the reason why the levels are like that?

Brief Answer:
could be

Detailed Answer:
Yes, it could be. But the tests I've suggested in my previous answer would help to get a better idea about the cause.

You're welcome

Detailed Answer:
You're welcome!

Don't forget that if it's iron deficiency there's still an underlying cause! It could be the period, not much iron in your food, bleeding hemorrhoids, psoriasis with many skin lesions, colon lesions like polyps, cancer, etc. So although the period is the first to blame, your doctor should exclude other - more serious - potential causes by taking a careful history and clinical examination, AFTER proving the deficiency of course...

Kind Regards!
