Brief Answer:
Lumbar slipped disc

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr Prabhakaran

Thank you for posting the question on this platform.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.

The present buttock pain, numbness and pain while sitting in the chair seems to be due to a compressed nerve in the lumbar spine. This might be causing radiating pain.Possibility of a lumbar disc prolapse should be kept in mind.

Have you got an MRI of the lumbar spine done?If you haven't,then I would suggest you to get an Xray as well as an MRI done to find out the exact cause.

Physiotherapy (Lumbar traction,Infra red, short wave diathermy etc) will be helpful.
Analgesics,anti-inflammatory drugs like paracetamol, ibuprofen should take care of the pain temporarily. Apply local analgesic gel followed by hot fomentation to the painful areas.

Using a lumbar brace / belt during the daytime will avoid further damage.

Do get back to me after your reports are ready.

I hope the answer was useful.

Thank you.
Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
muscle imbalance less likely

Detailed Answer:
I do not think it is a muscle imbalance.

Thus can be confirmed by an MRI.
I insist that you should get an MRI done.

You can ask me any follow up query on this question platform for any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Stop exercises for now

Detailed Answer:
Hello

This may have happened because of lifting something heavy or during gym exercises.
You should stop all the stretches and exercises till we get the MRI reports.

There is nothing to worry about.
It won't led to a big problem if proper care and precautions are taken.
Thank you.
