Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic!
The abnormal findings in your CBC are increased Neutrophils, presence of myelocytes, promyelocytes.
Presence of myelocytes, promyelocytes is a concern more than Anisocytosis and polychrmocytes.
Myelocytes, promyelocytes are present in certain benign and some serious conditions.
However, a Physical examination is mandatory to assess this since there are variety of other causes that needs to be ruled out.
You need a consultation with Hemotologist as well.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for follow up!
From the readings you have typed, there is some need to be worried about. I meant, you need Hemotologist opinion as well. However, I think I can comment better if you can upload the exact CBC report which shows clear cut values.
I do not think that your Crohn's disease or Prdnisone usage could have caused presence of all the above mentioned abnormalities in CBC.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for delay in replying.
Now I got a better idea after seeing your reports.
As I mentioned earlier, presence of myelocytes, promyelocytes is a concern more than than the finding of Anisocytosis and polychrmocytes.
Myelocytes, promyelocytes are present in certain benign and some serious conditions as well.
However, a Physical examination is mandatory to assess this since there are variety of other causes that needs to be ruled out. I do not think that use of prednisone or crohn's disease has altered the results of your CBC. You need a consultation with Hemotologist.

Brief Answer:
various kinds of inflammation, infection, etc.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic!
Myelocytes, promyelocytes are present usually in various kinds of inflammation, infection, etc. But also rarely without any clinical significance and also in pregnancy. However, as I have not done a physical exam on you, I cannot say for sure what all can be suspected in your case. It again depends on the type of myelocytes like neutrophil myelocytes, eosinophil myelocytes or basophil myelocytes. It is better to get an advise from a Hematologist who is specialized in these kind of problems.
I am not sure why your doctor was not concerned with results. Even if he is not concerned about Myelocytes, promyelocytes, there are other things like elevated neutrophils etc that should get some attention.

Brief Answer:
No, I am not a Hemoatologist.

Hi,
No, I am not a Hemoatologist. Your query was posted to General Physician's category. You need to post your query separately for Hematologists if you want your answer to get answered by them, which may cost higher.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Possible causes include various kinds of inflammation, infection and even pregnancy as I mentioned earlier. As the number of myelo and promyelo is comparatively higher than that usually found in pregnancy, I thought that a Hematologist opinion would be much better.
