Brief Answer:
Life style modification AND Drug

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

HDL is good cholesterol – higher, the better.
LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better. In the absence of any other risk factor 100 is ideal for LDL-C. In the presence of other diseases (especially Diabetes and/or established heart disease), 70 should be the aim.

Keep your weight to normal / even a little less
Quit smoking, if you are a smoker
Do regular EXERCISE – say WALKING It is not a hard form of exercise… You can do! - 30 minutes a day / at least 5 days in a week. Isometric exercise (like bull worker) is bad.
Healthy FOOD is a must. Avoid saturated fats – coconut oil, palm oil, butter, ghee, full cream milk...Avoid junk foods in particular – French fries have palm oil / Pizza has cheese / XXXXXXX sweets are made in ghee.../ Change to Poly-un-saturated oil – like sun flower oil. / Include Mono-un-saturated oil – Olive oil.
Repeat the test in 2 to 3 months.
Cholesterol can still be high, in spite of diet and exercise –; because your level is high and it is also manufactured in the liver – and that is determined by heredity. You need drugs... Start it straight away – Statin is the first choice… the old and tested one is Atorvastatin – the dose is 10 to 80 mg a day…. Generally, at this level 20 mg is the starting dose,,, your doctor will give appropriate prescription…

TRIGLYCERIDES
Your level is borderline > normal : < 150 mg/dL \ Borderline : 150 - 199 mg/dL \ High : 200 - 499
mg/dL \ Very High : > 500 mg/dL
Nothing o worry… the measures given above will take care of this also

Good luck
God bless you

Brief Answer:
Many years / Any from statin group/

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Generally, the time for block takes many many years… varies with inheritance, and is influenced by other associated factors like cholesterol, lack of exercise and so on... No need to repeat angiogram again,,, If there are symptoms, Treadmill exercise ECG (TMT) is the choice… non-invasive and can be repeated. It can be repeated with thallium isotope, if routine TMT is not conclusive

Statin is the name of the class (group) … Atorvastatin is one of the many drugs in the group.
The dose is ALREADY MENTIONED – 10 to 80 mg.. and generally starting at 20.
Omega-3 can supplement but cannot replace other medication
The treating doctor will give appropriate prescription
