What Does My Echocardiogram Test Results Indicate?
Question: Echocardiogram results came in. Everything looks normal/within range, save 2 things:
MV A velocity = 0.9 with normal ranges being between 0.2-0.7 m/sec. Also, AV Peak Velocity is 0.9 with normal ranges being 1.0-1.7 m/sec. I'm 23 years old and suffer from panic disorder. Is this cause for concern? What do those units even mean?

Dear Ms,

Don't worry. There is nothing abnormal.
Take care
