Detailed Answer:
HELLO XXXXXXX I AM DR XXXXXXX .
I THANK YOU FOR POSTING YOUR QUESTION ON HCM..

I READ YOUR QUESTION COMPLETELY AND HAVE UNDERSTOOD IT WELL ENOUGH.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

1. THE INDICATION THAT YOU HAVE MENTIONED IN REPORT MIGHT BE, DYSPEPSIA RIGHT? OR DYSPNOEA?
THERE IS NOTHING CALLED DYSPENIA AS YOU SAY.
BUT THATS OK, NOT A PROBLEM.

2. GE, D1, D2 NORMAL
THIS IS GOOD. IN PEPTIC ULCERS, D1 IS THE MOST COMMONLY INVOLVED AREA. THIS IS NORMAL FOR YOU.

3. BODY AND ANTRUM ARE HYPEREMIA AND MUCOSA IS ATROPHIED.
WELL, GOING BY YOUR AGE THIS IS NOT AT ALL TO BE WORRIED.
YOUR DOCTOR HAS PRESCRIBED THE RIGHT TREATMENT AND I CAN SAY WITH 100% CERTAINTY THAT YOU ARE FINE.

4. DO NOT BROWSE INTERNET AND INVITE STRESS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE TREATMENT GIVEN SINCERELY AND YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE.

5. NO IT IS NOT PRE CANCEROUS AND, HYPEREMIA WILL SUBSIDE GRADUALLY.

6. SUGGEST YOU THESE THINGS
A. AVOID OR REDUCE COFFEE/ TEA/ HOT FLUID INTAKE
B. PLENTY OF WATER
C. STRESS FREE LIFE
D. AVOID SPICY/ SMOKED FOOD

Am I suffering from atropic gastritis..?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr Manjunath Metri (4 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Atrophic Gastritis is more of Histopathological diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX welcome back to HCM..

I read your question..

If it was Atrophic Gastritis then, the same diagnosis would be written on your Endoscopy report.

Also, the doctor would have advised for Histopathological examination in case he had a doubt.

Your report says, Mucosal Atrophy.
This is very much different from Atrophic Gastritis itself..
And yes, Atrophic Gastritis is a risk for Cancer.

But, you are not suffering from Atrophic Gastritis as such..
So do not worry..

Hope this helps you..
In case you need any further assistance, please let me know.
Or else you can close the question and rate.
Thank you, take care.
