What Does My Follicle Study Report Indicate?

Question: Today on my cycle day 17, my follicle size is 26*18 mm. still I m not ovulate. I had taken clomipure 100 on day3 to day7. please advice if this size of follicle is ok for ovulation.

Hello mam, I understand your anxiety.
This follicle looks like it is hypermature and is most likely not going to rupture in stipulated time.
I would suggest you to inject injection HCG 5000 IU today and then have intercourse tomorrow and a day after as this injection will rupture the follicle and thus will yeild maximum chances of pregnancy.

thanks doctor for advise. but my gyne suggested me to go for u/s day after tomorrow as injection is only possible when follicle size 20mm - 22mm. I am confuse what to do. kindly advise if to get this injection at this stage is beneficial.

My gyne advice me to go through with iui for conceive. . What is iui?? Why I need for this?? Can I take clomid in next cycle. .??

If the egg is not rupture at the size of 26mm it will become cyst.?? Is there any hope for pregnancy..??

Hi XXXX, yes opt for IUI after HCG injection in this cycle itself.
Take HCG injection for rupture of follicle which will also eliminate the risk of cyst formation and will give good result by increasing the chances of pregnancy.
In utero insemination (IUI) increases the conception rates by the fact that in IUI the semen of your partner will be placed inside the uterus and thus will increase the chances of sperms meeting the egg and thus forming baby soon.
If you don't want it in this cycle then you can take clomid in next cycle along with IUI.
