What Does My Follicular Study Report Indicate?

Question: I got his results but my Dr wants more studies inside the ovaries, why?The uterus is surgically absent. The cervix contains a 7 x 4 x 7 mm anechoic avascular cyst.
The right ovary measures 3.4 x 1.7 x 2.4 cm and demonstrates normal homogeneous echotexture with normal blood flow. The right ovary contains an 8 x 7 x 8 mm anechoic avascular follicle. The left ovary measures 2.1 x 1.4 x 1.8 cm and shows normal echogenicity with normal blood flow.
No solid or cystic mass lesions are demonstrated in the pelvis. There is no free fluid in the pelvis.

My doctor just wants more ovaries ultrasound. Is this condition a concern ,like do i need surgery?
Brief Answer:
To assess the origin of the cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
The ultrasound shows normal ovaries, however a cyst is present in the cervix.
Cyst in cervix is highly unlikely, it can be arising from the ovary.
This is the reason why your doctor wants to review the ultrasound.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
