Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.

I hope you are not exercising during the period. If that is the case, PP sugars can be low.
This is a usual mistake. However , this is not the only cause.
There are 3 other possibilities.
1. the thyroid medicine you take affects the fasting sugars. thyroid medicines are known to raise sugars , even in low doses. And you are taking 150 mg. So if you are taking the medicine before the test , it may be raising the fasting sugars.
If not, next 2 possibilities are to be considered.
2. XXXXXXX phenomenon is usually seen when insulin is secreted early morning 2 to 3 AM. This is a usual phenomenon. However , if there is less sugar In the body, the sugar dips. This leads to the body trying to raise the sugars. The effects are often visible in the fasting sugar. This frequently happens in people who have a light dinner.
If not, consider the next possibility.
3. If you are obese, the insulin resistance exists. This means that insulin doesnt act normally. When you eat, insulin is further released. This makes the insulin in excess and sometimes this excess temporarily breaks the insulin resistance . The PP levels may thus be low. The obvious way of getting out of this is to get a low calories breakfast and loose weight.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Feel free to contact me for further information on any related query.
Best of luck.

But sir, as per my report, it seems like both sugar level are under control. Still is there a possibility of XXXXXXX phenomenon?

Brief Answer:
Sequence is important

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
As I said before xxxxxx
These are the common causes.
Not all of them have to be present at the same time.
I have given the possibilities in sequence in which they might occur in your case.
Eg if you are taking the thyroid medication, that itself is reason enough. You need not consider the other causes.
I hope that helps.
Best of luck.
