Brief Answer:
Suggested complete heart evaluation, HS CRP can be raised in arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

Page 1 Blood sugar level is in normal limits

Page 2 Absolute lymphocyte is slightly increased and not a problem

Page 3 Rare elements and micronutrients are normal

Page 4 Amylase is a test for pancreas conditions and it is normal

Page 5 Apolipoproteins which help in fat transport in the cells is normal

Page 6 High sensitivity C reactive proteins is raised. This requires a complete cardiology examination and investigations to know the functioning of the heart. An ECG and echocardiography are the basic investigations and if she is symptomatic for chest discomfort then higher investigations like treadmill test and coronary angiography can be done under recommendation of the cardiologist.

Page 7 Homocysteine level is normal. If raised then it may indicate many problems like heart disease, osteoporosis, vitamin deficiency and others

Page 8 Iron level is normal

Page 9 Kidney function test is normal

Page 10 Lipase is a digestive enzyme and is normal

Page 11 Cholesterol is in upper limit of normal

Page 12 Liver function test is near normal

Page 13 Lipoprotein A shows tendency to heart disease and is normal

Page 14 Testosterone level is at upper limit of normal

Page 15 Thyroid function test is normal

Page 16 Vitamin D deficiency is there and vitamin B12 level is normal. Vitamin D supplements are to be given after consultation with the doctor.

In conclusion, your mother needs to get a complete heart evaluation done to know the risk profile for coronary heart disease. It is also important to know that arthritis and any low grade inflammation can also raise HS CRP level in blood and therefore it not always raised due to heart conditions.

Since cholesterol level is near normal therefore she can continue with a balanced diet that is normal for her age. If any heart condition is detected then she has to take precautions and follow up with the cardiologist regularly as required.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
