It can be ITP.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your platelets count is very low. But it is not persistently low.
Whether increase in platelets count was due to treatment effects or anything else?
Because if it due steroids or immunoglobulin then there is high chance of immune thrombocytopenia and for confirmation you should go for bone marrow examination.
Moreover your lymphocytes count is also increased. So it can be viral infection or other blood disorder.
If you don't have recent viral infection then you should go for bone marrow examination. It will clear all doubts then give exact idea about diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
No. No viral infection sir. In XXXXXXX 2015 I had jaundice.
Sir what do you infer from
1. Lymphocyte count and MPV high when platelet low.
2. One year this count really goes up and other parameters like RBC goes for a toss. What does this mean?
3. Other than ITP what else can show these symptoms? Leukaemia?
4. Is ITP curable?
Thank you sir.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
(1) Your lymphocytes count is higher which can be seen in viral or some other infection. Atypical lymphocytes can be seen in blood cancer.
Don't worry much about MPV. It indicates size of platelets.
(2) Your RBC count is decreased in between and that leads to reactive thrombocytosis(high platelets). It can be due to bleeding or some illness. But it is not worrisome for me.
(3) Other then ITP it can be viral or other infection, vitamin B12 deficiency or may be some other causes. If lymphocytes are normal in morphology then no chance of leukaemia if it is abnormal then it can be leukemia. Which can be easily ruled out by routine peripheral smear examination.
(4) For ITP many treatment options are available which can take care of your platelets count so don't worry about that.
So in my opinion you should go for peripheral smear examination first. If needed go for bone marrow examination after report of peripheral smear examination. This will give you exact diagnosis. Then take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.
