Question: In tubular lymphadenitis if at in six months treatment after sonography of neck and CT chest everything comes normal ,can I stop treatment After six months

Hi,
Thanks for posting the question on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:
1. If usg neck and ct chest are normal after 6 months of anti TB treatment - att, then you can stop att in consultation with your doctor.
2. But if significant lymphadenopathy is there then att needs to be continued.
3. Do remember that ct scan thorax involves significant radiation exposure also, hence when to order the investigations should be better left to your physician.
