Detailed Answer:
HI
Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.
Mild increase in SGPT could be due to Viral infections, certain medications including Pain killers , Paracetamol and also Alcohol intake .
This elevation shall subside by itself but it may take 2-3 weeks . Since you have been asked for a repeat test after 1 week itself I recommend you get started on medication to accelerate the normalisation of SGPT. In that regard I recommend you to get a prescription for Tab Hepamerz and take it two times a day for a week .
Also eat less oily food , avoid non veg food and drink plenty of fruit juice . Don't use any other medications like Antibiotics, Pain killers or Paracetamol till next SGPT test.
Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.
Regards.
