What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?
Please give feedback and reports.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
I can understand the anxiety one gets if a family member, particularly a Mother died
of Lymphoma.
Lymphomas usually do not occur in lymph nodes at the base of neck.
Secondly it would be advisable to have ultrasonography of the affected area to know whether this is lymph node or sebaceous cyst or a lipoma. FNAC if required can help further.
In case lymphoma is suspected, excision of the lump to send it for histo-pathology examination should be done to make sure about the probable diagnosis and if this is any of the benign lesion as mentioned above you can certainly get off the stress and anxiety.
So do not get stressed out until we receive the ultrasonography report.
Just relax at the moment.
I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
