What Does My Lipase Value Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor,
i have done blood checkup yesterday.

I see the are LIPASE in blodd is on higher level - 71.2 U/I (Test done by Photometry)
however i do not have any problem or symptoms.

Can you kindly help me with this please.


Below are the medicines and supplements am taking currently.
- Inlife Flax seed oil (Omega 3,6, and 9 ) tablets daily 1 after lunch.
- Inlife B-12 supplement i took for 3 months and stopped last month.
- I am taking homeopathy medicines for Psoriasis for the last 3 years and Ayurveda tablets and syrup for the last 10 months.

I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

You have said Lipase is on the higher level (71.2 U/L).
But I do not consider it significant.
The raise is considered significant only if it is 2-3 times the upper limit of normal.
Since it is not so in your case, you can just ignore it.

High lipase is seen in acute pancreatitis in addition to few other conditions.

Can you kindly help me or suggest medicine or a diet by which i can bring down the Lipase in blodd to normal level then that of the current level.

There is no need for any special diet.
As I said earlier lipase is not significantly raised. You can just ignore it.
