Brief Answer:
Please provide your symptoms and illness history

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

Can you please tell me what your symptoms are, with normal liver tests, one should not be worried for dying from liver disease. However age related symptoms of different body parts are inevitable,we can address them one by one and help you in this regard.

Please point your all symptoms one by one which you want to be addressed and let me connect the dots for you. The more thorough you are in explaining, the better it would be for me to answer.

Khan

My question has not been answered. The doctors do not say what is wrong with me. I am tired fatigued, cannot bathe
myself,, tarry bowels, diarrhea, loss of air, excess facial hair and have to shave everyday, tired, no appetite,, weight gain,
stuffy nose with cold symptoms but no cold every day all day. The doctor says I have no liver problems but I say I do.
I am desperate,

Brief Answer:
Symptoms explained one by one. Needs management,

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for explaining your symptoms

Tired and fatigue at the age of 71 could be due to organic causes or age related. It can also be related to psychological risk factors like depression as any chronic illness can cause depression.

Tarry stools is a serious symptom and should be ruled out for any bleeding cause or upper GI bleed. Diarrhea could be functional bowel decline or an inflammatory bowel disease , nutshell you need colonoscopy and endoscopy of your bowel.

Excess facial hair at age of 71 is mostly hormonal as estrogen decline can cause slight facial hair in women after age of 60. A cosmetician can help you with that.

Weight gain, no appetite etc are connected to depression and needs slight rehab and psychotherapy . Diet lifestyle modifications and exercise and more out door exercises will help.

Regarding liver, problem doctors can label a liver diseased if they find some evidence from labs for that. if you feel they are not listening you can have a second opinion for that.

Nutshell, you have multiple symptoms and all of these need to be connected individually and managed accordingly.

I hope it helps.

Khan
