Brief Answer:
Surgery would be the option

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..I understand your concern..
I have gone through your reports.

In my opinion you should undergo an open surgery and send a frozen biopsy from the affected area.. The report comes in half an hour.. Meanwhile the surgeons can progress for hysterectomy with oophorectomy... Affected lymph nodes and nodes over the peritonem and omentum should be removed and sent for biopsy.. Ascitic fluid taken and sent for sampling.. Depending on the grade of lesion, chemotherapy has to be planned.. This would be the better option than laparoscopy..

If you have failed to upload more reports. Please mail the reports to YYYY@YYYY with subject as ATTN: Dr. Dalia Muraleedharan. Please mention here if you mail any reports as for me to go through it and reply you at the earliest.

Please feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..

Brief Answer:
Lets hope for the best

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..

Lets hope it to be benign.. Unless the biopsy report comes nothing can be said conclusively.. But to be truthful scan and CA 125 favours towards malignancy.. But keep up hopes..

Thanks..
-Does it seem spread everywhere or can be contained with surgery?
-Is there any possibility I wont need chemo?
-Does it make sense to go for chemo before the surgery?
-Might the surgery be a reason for the tumor to spread?
-What is the percentage to totally (100%) cure from ovary cancer and is it a death journey?
-How fast should I operate?

Brief Answer:
Dont worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..

1.Whether there is spread can only be determined at the time of surgery.. Biopsy need to be taken from lymph node, omentum and ascitic fuid for analysis..
2. If the capsule of the ovary is intact with no outside spread, you dont need chemotherapy..
3.If there is a spread, chemo will help the tumor to shrink so surgery becomes easier and complete removal can be tried..
4.It depends on the stage of cancer.. Stage 1 and 2 surgery almost cures completely 70-90%.. Stage 3 requires chemotherapy 20-40% chance of survival. Stage 4, chemotherapy can be tried but not of much use..
5.Operation should be done in a month's time.. So much delay is not advisable..

Hope I have answered your query.. Feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..
