What Does My Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Question: I have been trying to conceive since 5month but not successful ,we went to doctor and some test has done for me and my husband ,Please see reports of me and my husband ,I have Period only for two Days and sometime Three days and also Last Month I did Follicular scan On Day 13 , but I was not ovulating as per report, and getting egg white discharge on day 12 and day 13 but Day 14 onwards no egg white type discharge, so I just want to know do I have proper ovulation and I got Period after Day 27 cycle that is on Day 28, Please suggest me any scan is required or medicine and any other diet and suggestion.Semen Report Password Protected Password is-xxxxxx

Hi, welcome to healthcaremagic.

I have seen your reports. Your thyroid and AMH level is normal. Your follicular study shows that you had one dominant follicle in right ovary. I think you should have done a scan again after 2 to 3 days to see the growth of your follicle. It might have ruptured after growing to a size more than 17 or 18 mm.

I was not able to see the semen report. It is not opening. Kindly reload it.

In my opinion, you should get a serum prolactin test done. Also get a day 2 FSH and LH level done.You should also get a HSG test to see the tubal patency.

You can go for ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving. You can take some medicines like clomiphene for inducing ovulation and track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound. When follicles reach a size more than 17 to 18 mm, you can take injection for rupture of follicles. Be in contact with your husband for next 2 days.

Take progesterone for next 2 weeks after rupture is confirmed on ultrasound. Do a urine pregnancy test after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 cycles.

Hi, I think semen analysis is normal. Get a semen culture and sensitivity test done to rule out any infection as agglutination is positive. Otherwise report is fine.

In XXXXXXX you can go to M ILANN, The fertility centre. It has many branches, in jayanagar, indiranagar and kumara park. You can search online.
