Brief Answer:
Reduced Motility

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns about semen analysis.

Following is my reply

1) Your semen analysis shows slightly reduced Motility. This can be cured by following the advice I am writing below

2) Stop smoking and alcohol if you have habits.

3) Wear loose pants and undergarments.

4) Reduce your weight if you are overweight.

5) Exercise regularly.

These will help to improve motility. Overall your semen analysis is good.

Get your wife HSG ( hysterosalpingogram) test done to identify fallopian tube patency.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Regards

Hello again, my wife's gynac had suggested her to take siphene 50 mg for 5 days and normoz twice a day. So she asked to wait for 3 months. So in our next visit we will talk to her about HSG test. After seeing my report today she asked me to take fertisure M daily once. Is it going to help me in right direction?

Doctor she did conceive last year march but in 3 months we had to drop it out as there were fetal abnormalities detected. Also we are not having enough frequency of intercourse due to busy work lives. So we will be trying out with ovulation kit this time. I have few questions. If the progressive motility is low than can sperms move to fallopian tubes or not?
Do we need prescription for HSG test. And is the problem curable if detected in HSG?

Brief Answer:
HSG not required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

HSG test is not required as you say your wife had already conceived once.

Minor reduction in progressive motility is not a concern. Don't worry about it. You have good chances of pregnancy.
