What Does My Semen Analysis Test Report Indicate?
Question: Doctor, I have question regarding semen analysis... My report shows following data, would like to know if this is healthy or poor sperm count
1) Physical and Clinical Examination
- Volume - 2.0 ml
- Colour - Opaque Grey
- Viscosity - Normal
-Liquification : 30 min
- pH: 7.0
- Fructose: --
2) Motility studies
1 hour after time of collection: 55-60% actively motile, 15-20% sluggishly motile, 15-20% - non motile
2 hour after time of collection: 50-55% actively motile, 10-15% sluggishly motile, 25-30% - non motile
3 hour after time of collection: 45-50% actively motile, 10-15% sluggishly motile, 30-35% - non motile
4 hour after time of collection: 40-45% actively motile, 05-10% sluggishly motile, 40-45% - non motile
3) Morphology
- PUS cells - 1-2/hpf
- RBC-0-1/HPF
-Epethelial cells - 0-1 hpf
- Sperms: 60mil/ml

Doctor, Thanks for the response.. It is very helpful.. When you say "it is within accepted range as per WHO" - How do I rate it in the scale of 1-10 (1 - non fertile, 4 - 6- being moderate - 7-9 - good and 10 being really good)
