Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. I am afraid the histopathology report points towards basal cell carcinoma a skin cancer. But a good thing about this cancer is that it rarely spreads, so as early as possible excision should be planned. You may discuss different treatment options with your doctor like Mohs procedure, ED&C (Electrodesiccation and curettage) , freezing etc and let them decide what is best for you.
Avoid midday sun, use sunscreen protection and dont worry . Its not spread and will be managed. I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

No worries. Less chances to spread.

Thats the protocol they are following. margins of a sample should be malignancy free, your report showed margins involved, thats why they might have missed some cells there, so they are going deeper this time. No worries its a standard procedure.
Basal cell carcinoma rarely spreads or metastasizes . Only one in thousand cases metastasizes which is very low for odds.
I hope it helps.
