What Does My Sperm Analysis Test Report Indicate?

I have had a sperm analysis performed. I do not clearly understand the results as they were explained to me. I understand that i do not produce the "normal" size sample. I do not produce enough sperm. And that many of the soerm are not shaped correctedly.
I am waitng for the resukts of a tubular analysis but i would like to understand the initial results better. The aspects of the analysis that i would like to understand better are:
- Semen volume
- Total sperm number
- Sperm concentration
- Vitality of sperm
- Motility of soerm
- Morphology of sperm
I would also like to understand, based on these results, the probability of being able to impregnant a woman through intercourse.
I have written down the test results at the end of this note.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
XXXX

Motile sperms should be at least 50% normally.
Detailed Answer:
Semen volume is just the amount of semen that has been taken to test.
Sperm concentration is the amount of sperms accumulated in semen.
Vitality is the ability of sperm to impregnate.
Motile sperms should be at least 50% normally. Men with low sperm motility might have difficulties in achieving a pregnancy but not impossible.
Stress, anxiety, recent illness, surgery or fever, improper eating habits and sleeping habits, junk food, smoking, tobacco consumption, alcohol, hot tubs or hot sauna baths etc contribute to decreased sperm motility. If any of these are present try to avoid them.
Morphology of sperms shows defects in the structure of sperm like defects in head or tail of sperms which effect motility.
Your results are little unclear to read. Kindly attach the scanned reports.
Thanks!

I've attached the report to this note.
I am also on medication for a mood disorder.
The medications are Cymbalta, Depakote, Geodon and Valium. I also take Propecia.
Could these medications affect my sperm oroduction, in terms of concentration, volume, etc.?
Thank you,

Hi,
i cannot find the attachment. Please recheck if attached or not.

defects in morphology
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through the medications you are taking. There is no clinical research evidence that these drugs effect your sperm production and I have not seen any such case in my practice. But, Valium is rarely associated with some effects sperms but in very rare cases. However, as I can see from your reports attached- concentration and sperm count are not problems in your case. But, there are defects in morphology which usually occur in head of sperm.
This needs to be seriously considered with help of an infertility Specialist.
Thanks!
