I also have a pinching pain on lower left side of my abdomen...just asking what can be the cause?

Get Ultrasound Abdomen Scan.

It could be Spasm of the gut, Stones in the Ureter, ( Urine Pipe ) , Urine Infection or Pelvic Inflammatory disease ( if you are female ) .
I recommend you to get Ultrasound scan done which will help in knowing what is causing your problems.

abdominal ultrasound shows clear...no abnormalities.this pain comes and goes lasts for a few minutes....After gas passed pain slowly disappears

In that case it is either Indigestion or Irritable bowel syndrome. I advise you to avoid spicy food and non veg food, eat more of fruits and vegetables.
Also get a prescription for Syrup Aristozyme and use it . This will improve your digestion.
If in spite of following all these advise your problem persists then you need to get Colonoscopy scan done.
