What Does My Throat Swab Culture Test Report Indicate?

Question: Thanks Dr XXXXXXX they did the swab test and it came back clear no infection left. so should he not wait and rather do the ligament instead of trying to get it to heal complete and then months later reopen.
Brief Answer:
Clinical signs of infection?
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
In that case, the antibiotic you are on is doing a good job at infection control. It must go on till there are no clinical signs of infection as confirmed by your Surgeon.
Once he can confirm that, you can get the ligament repair done.

thanks Dr XXXXXXX so has already completed the course of antibiotics and they have removed the drip. is it correct that he should not close up the wound rather repair the ligament and then close up the wound. and at that point I can request the plastic surgeon to have a look.
Brief Answer:
Skin must heal to perform the next surgery
Detailed Answer:
The wound must be closed, best at the advise of a plastic surgeon.
Once the wound heals otherwise surgery can be another stress to a weak skin region. Following skin healing, surgery for the ligament repair can be considered.
