Brief Answer:
To check complete thyroid functions before starting...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is evident to take thyroid supplements like eltroxin or thyronorm when TSH is at 10.71. However it would be worthwhile to test other thyroid function tests including T3, T4 and anti TPO antibodies before starting supplements. Perhaps it would be wise to consult an endocrinologist or an internist (general physician) who will order these test and start thyroid medications.

If TSH value remain at 10.71, she may need to start atleast 50mcg of eltroxin initially. The target will be to keep TSH as close to 3 - 3.5.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Only uric acid reports seen.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The reports attached only shows normal uric acid besides TSH value of 10.71. This normal uric acid level doesn't have any significance with her thyroid functions.

Do you have any more tests? If yes, please upload.
