What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

Question: I had severe sudden onset upper right quad abdominal pain April2. ER gave donnatol and sent home. Pain persisted so went to primary care and her Ultrasound showed ascited around liver and spleen and pelvic cul de sac. So back to ER. Transvaginal US showed a pancakeds shaped mass on right ovary with halo of fluid. Left ovary not visible. 6mm hypervascular mass found on uterine wall near endometrial stripe and radiologist made a point to say it did not look like a fibroid or cesarean scar mass. CT showed no problems with liver or other abdominal organs and blood work supported that. Theory is the Ascites is from the Ovaries. Does this indicate cancer or can the ascites in abdomen be from a benign cause? I can only find Ascites from ovaries associated with ovarian cancer. Can it be from a regular/ benign cyst. Also had enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes. 37 year old female
Brief Answer:
blood tests advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Seeing the history and findings described by you it seems like an ovarian cancer in initial stages but nothing conclusive can be said without certain blood work and examination.
Ovarian cancer is less common at your age and presence of enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes is not very much common and these two factors rather point towards tuberculosis and not cancer.
In my opinion get the following blood tests done - complete blood count, ESR, CA-125, CEA and bHCG levels along with ascitic fluid analysis.
Also I would like to see your ultrasound report.
Waiting for your response
Regards
Dr Manisha.

Thank you Dr XXXXXXX
I have uploaded all the imaging they did at Doctor office and Emergency department. Is it ok to wait 2 days before I get my first appointment with OBgyn or should I push to be seen tomorrow? Also once you read report, why would left ovary not be found at all. Is that normal? Please give me any of your further thoughts after seeing the radiology reports Ive uploaded.
Thanks,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
get the blood tests done first
Detailed Answer:
After seeing all your reports and analyzing it with the acute history, it seems to be more consistent with ovarian cancer which can be benign or malignant depending on blood work.
Absence of left ovary is very unlikely but for that you can show your CT Scan to the radiologist again and ask him to analyze again for left ovary.
There is no need to change the appointment date and rather use these days to get the blood tests done so that you meet your gynecologist with reports and a better diagnosis can be made at the earliest.
All the best.
