Question: Hi my name is XXXXXXX and I'm 4 days late with my cycle. I'm always on time and my cycle is of 28 days... I have been having the cramps but no menstrual and my breast are very very sensitive. I have never had acne and now I do...I've taken a blood pregnancy test and it came out negative. I had in the left ovary 3 matured follicles and in the right 3 matured follicles with several small ones... I had an ultrasound done and it's only showing a cyst on my right ovary...can u PLEASE EXPLAIN...my endometrio measured 3.6mm and this dra here in mx wants me to take provera....WHAT SHLD I DO IM REALLY SCARED

If the blood test is negative then pregnancy is less likely. The presence of cyst in the ovary suggests a corpus luteal cyst and can be due to a pregnancy.

It is best to wait for a week more and do a blood test again to check for pregnancy. Till then to avoid any bleeding you can take provera. Endometrial thickness at 3.6mm is less and taking provera will help the endometrium to prepare for the pregnancy.
