What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Hi,
I'm a male 44 years old. Smoked for 12 years but quit 11 years ago. Three months ago had tested positive for erythrocytes in dipstick urine test 2 times. An abnominal and pelvic ultra sound at this time was normal. A month later urine test was negative. And a month after that it was positive again. This past week I did another test and it was negative. At this time I also did a microscopic urine test. The result was 1-2 rbc hpf.
The normal range was listed as 0-2 rbc hpf. There are no other symptoms. Should I be worried about bladder tumor? Thanks for your help.

Brief Answer:
There is no possibility of Bladder Tumor at all .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .Based on the reports of your urine analysis presence of few erythrocytes detected on microscopic urine examination is a normal finding even in a normal individual and can happen due to reduced water intake giving rise to urine being concentrated .
Any tumor in the bladder will present with irritative bladder symptoms like frequency ,burning ,urgency and most important symptom being passing XXXXXXX blood in urine (Hematuria).
Do not worry or think about you having Bladder Tumor .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Hi Doctor XXXXXXX
Thank you for the quick reply. I was just wondering because of the three positive dipstick urine tests should I be worried about those? Even though the microscopic urine test came back fine at 1-2 rbc hpf.
Thanks, XXXXXXX
