What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
Question: So for the past year i have been having 2 different issues.
I've been burping all day and when i drink water or fluids, i can feel it going down my esophagus and to my stomach, i feel it go "to my left side".
Since then, i've had an abdominal ultrasound, h pyrli test and an upper endoscopy which showed my stomach was inflamed, they told me it was "mild gastritis".
None of the medication that have given me from PPIs to H2 blockers have been working.
I changed my diet and cut off al the acid stuff and still remain the same.
My 2 nd problem is that i've had 2 swollen lymph nodes under my jaw for about a year as well.
I've been very worried about it being something serous, but my doctor gave me a white blood count test that came back normal and told me if i had the lymphoma something would had showed up 100%.
Which im not starting to feel to confident about.
Could lymphoma cause gastritis and is their anything else can can cause this?
Should i be worried?

The esophagus is a muscular tube that is located in the chest and serves to transfer food from the mouth to the stomach. The lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is a valve that is located at the junction of the stomach with the esophagus. Its function is to prevent acid and other contents of the stomach from coming back into the esophagus. GERD is a condition in which excessive acid-containing fluid refluxes (flows) back into the esophagus, in part because the lower esophageal sphincter is weak.
These injuries and inflammation cause difficulty in swallowing food.
Enlargement of lymph nodes may be related to gastritis and acid reflux.
When acid refluxes back into esophagus and mouth it changes the ph of mouth causing a number of bad bacterias and organism to develop in upper gut including esophagus and mouth.
Lymph node ttraps them and get enlarged.
Advice-
Control acid production-Take omeprazole 40 mg twice daily.
2)Prevent reflux of acid formed back to esophagus and mouth- Levosulpiride should be taken with PPI.
Proper treatment is required for preventing the situation to get worse in few years.
