Question: HCG 20000, unsure of LMP, ultrasound today and empty sac, what are the chances of this being a healthy pregnancy

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Your HCG levels are suggestive of a 5-6 weeks pregnancy. An ultrasound scan can show an empty sac in early pregnancy. Since your progesterone levels are low, you can start with progesterone supplements after consulting your gynecologist and get a repeat HCG levels done after 2 days. In case there is a rise in the levels then it is suggestive of a viable pregnancy. A repeat ultrasound scan after 1 week will also help.
