Question: hello doc ,
am 38 yr my ultra..shows both ovaries normal.single follicle seen in left ovary 15mm what does it means i had lepro...sterli...13yr back ...is it indicates prege....or whts the teatment my gynno is go to do thanks doc

Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
this follicle in ovary simply means that this is the normal dominant follicle which is growing in the ovary and you are probably in your second week of your menstrual cycle as on the day of USG.
It doesn't indicate pregnancy at all, but its a normal finding in ovary to see growing follicles.
There is nothing to be done for the follicle as it would rupture by day 14-16 causing ovulation naturally .
