what does this mean with regard to the condition of her liver?
Brief Answer:
Suggestive of Cirrhosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in
Liver Shear Wave Elastography is a non invasive method of assessing liver fibrosis
Values greater than 12.5 kPa (2.04 m/s) are suggestive of cirrhosis
Metavir F4 is also suggestive of moderate plus cirrhosis
Get her liver function panel done and see a good Gastroentrologist in your area
Hope this helps
