please provide me information about pregnancy issues because of subseptate uterus
Brief Answer:
Details about subseptate uterus is given.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for attaching your report. I have reviewed it.
1) Sub-septate uterus is a congenital malformation, in which an incomplete septum may involve the upper part of the uterine cavity.
2) In fact, there is NO problem in normal pregnancy. However, the risk of recurrent pregnancy loss or early miscarriage, premature birth and malpresentation will be increased to some extent. It is the most common cause of spontaneous abortion in the first trimester.
3) I suggest you to consult with your treating doctor regarding this. You need to undergo surgical correction (hysteroscopic removal of the septum) to maximize chance of healthy conception and avoid miscarriage.
Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.
