Brief Answer:
If pain is not severe than may wait for 6 month

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. As such osteopenia is not an absolute contraindication for total hip replacement. Having said that it is better to wait for 4-6 months, for any osteopenia/osteoporosis treatment to have its positive effect .This may be confirmed by repeat dexa scan at 4-6 months.
Hence, it is my sincere advice to wait at least for 4-6 months if your pain is not that severe enough.
Hope this suffices.
Take care

Brief Answer:
These are the sign of degeneration/arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It’s good to see you
This cyst and AVN are the sign of arthritis and cause of pain. It is for this very reason hip replacement is indicated.
Hope this helps. I shall be glad to answer any further.
