What Does Negative UPT Post IUI Indicate?
Question: Hi. My name is XXXXXXX XXXXXXX I got my last periods on 6th sept. Then on 26th sept doctor did iui. I did not get periods till 16th Oct. I did hpt but it was negative. Then doctor told to wait till 19th Oct. Again it was negative. Doctor did sonography and told its due to hormonal imbalance. After that doctor gave me cycloreg tablets on 27th Oct for 7 days. But still I m not getting my periods. Is there any chance of pregnancy?
Brief Answer:
do bHCG test
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I understand your health concerns.
Yes there are chances of pregnancy so better get a bHCG test done, which is a confirmatory test for pregnancy.
In case positive then get a repeat ultrasound done.
But if negative then just wait for your periods as then there is nothing to worry.
Take care.

I want to ask that Is cycloreg tablets for getting periods or for delay periods. Coz I did not get my periods whole Oct month.
Brief Answer:
progesterone for getting periods
Detailed Answer:
Cycloreg is a progesterone and helps in straightening up the hormonal imbalance.
After taking it for seven days, when a patient stops it she will get withdrawal bleeding within 3-7 days if she is not pregnant.
So just wait till then and in case you still don't get then in next 2 weeks then visit your gynecologist.
All the best
