Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
This term is used by people to denote many things like mucous.
Many times if people shed intestinal linings (mucosa) in stool due to some diseases like Inflammatory bowel disease, they also feel the same.
It is also depicted by patients suffering from Irritable bowel syndrome.
However to help you better I need to know complete history and the experience that the concerned person had.
Provide me complete history for a better help.
Stay Healthy.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
If your colonoscopy was normal then there is nothing to worry.
In case you have started Metformin recently this can be because of that also.
I advise in such situations first of all to get a Stool Routine and Microscopy done.
Once it is available review with me to discuss further course of action.
Till then consume high fiber diet.
Also see in case you pass any blood with stools.
Don't strain in toilet.
If you have any further query please ask me else review with report.
Stay Healthy.
