Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for your feedback and the picture get a bit clearer.
-Your BMI is 23.72, perfectly normal hence your weight can not be the reason for any of the symptoms.
- No specific incidence as a cause (you feel like the jogging may be the cause), pain at the back of the knee joint on bending.
The Principles for pain in the knee of an young person of your age.:
- First of all rest to the ailing part.
- Find the cause:
This is possible by a a good MRI at least 1.5 tesla.
Actual physical evaluation by an Orthopedic Surgeon to see ad find the cause.
Both these things will lead to a proper diagnosis and give a plan for further treatment.
The Orthopedic Surgeon will also see for the proper reason of your back and ask for X-rays or MRI.
- Anti-inflammatory medicines Like Ibuprofen at 8 hourly interval after food, with milk and PPI like Pantoprazole.
- Crepe bandage or loose fitting kneecap will help a bit.
A for the Planter fascitis of the heels:
- I can suggest the following in such a patient;
Take broad based bucket or a bowl in which you can rest your both feet comfortably.
Pour in a water till it fills up to 8 inches. Remove the feet and start adding common salt to the water. Go on adding till you can see the salt not being able to dissolve. This makes it supersaturated solution.
Once this saturated solution is made, you have to make it warm on a stove to an extent that the back of your hand can tolerate, pour it into the bucket, test the temperature again, rest your feet in to the bucket. Keep part of the solution on the stove so that you can add warm solution to the bucket with feet. Continue for 15 minutes minimum twice daily. Do not throw away this solution as it will look dirty after some days; use the same.
You may take an additional oral steroids in the form of deflazacort under the prescription of your Doctor, in tapering dosage and may take diuretics if needed as you are allergic to pain-killers.
Always take multivitamins as they act like anti-oxidants.
I hope this helps you as it helps many of my patients.
Please feel free to ask for more if you need to and you may please rate this answer.
Wishing you an early recovery.
Certainly will help you.
