Brief Answer:
Could be musculoskeletal pain. Try anti inflammatory medicines
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Have you suffered from any abdominal problems in the past or digestion issues? Have you been exercising your abs lately. Either of these things could be leading to the pain.
I suggest you decrease your exercise if that is what is leading to the pain and try anti inflammatory medicines like Tab Combiflam or Ibuprofen on full stomach. If these measures do not relieve the pain then you should see a Surgeon and probably might require an Ultrasound.
Do let me know whether there is any history of exercise or earlier issues.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Continue the treatment advised
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Your treatment is on the right lines. You can take the medicines prescibed and wait for a week to see the response. It should go away with this treatment.
if not then you could get an Ultrasound abdomen done to see whether all is well.
I dont think there is anything wrong unless there is a swelling or lump in your groin area.
So do not worry and continue the treatment advised.
Take care.
