Question: 5 days post ESWL procedure. Passing white tissue in urine. Is this normal?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Urinary ingredients change and leukocytes , damaged tissue due to lithotripsy and proteins may increase transiently giving this whitish tissue appearance to the urine. No worries, wait and observe. These changes revert to normal with in a couple of weeks upto 3 months. All you gotta do is sty hydrated, drink adequate fluids to flush out any remnant or sludge in the urinary tract and use supportive care for symptoms relief. Every thing will be back to normal. For your peace of mind, you can request a urinalysis sequentially biweekly to quantify the improvement.
