Hi
yes recently
I have been lifting heavy objects like suitcases.
Also recently like a couple of weeks back I slipped from the staircases
My daily lifestyle includes prolonged hour of sitting since I am software professional
No history of joint pains.
I sense the pain more when I try to bend or sit for a longer period of time.

Brief Answer:
Muscle strain
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
From the history that you have provided, you seem to have symptoms suggestive of a muscle strain more likely due to the stress caused due to lifting heavy weights in addition to the fall from stairs.
I would suggest you to do the following:
- Take T. ULTRACET twice daily for 5 days.
- Apply hot fomentation with a towel over the affected area at least 3 times daily.
- Try sleeping in the absence of a mattress, better if able to sleep over a wooden plank.
- Take frequent breaks while working in a sitting position for long.
- Do stretching exercises daily for a minimum of 15 mins in the morning.
Hope I have answered your query.
