What Does "placenta Shows Mild Basal Stippling" Mean?

please let me know if it is normal or not
1) two cord loops
2)biparietal diameter
and what is meant by placenta shows mild basal stippling
Details below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I have studied the report carefully.
The growth of the baby is normal. The slight decrease in BPD is not significant since the head circumference is normal. At 32 weeks Abdominal circumference is a more accurate parameter to calculate the fetal age.
Basal stippling of placenta is also a normal finding. This is suggestive of gradual placental maturity. Since there is no calcification there is no need to worry.
The two loops of cord around the baby's neck are worrisome and if these loops remain like this till 37 weeks then a cesarean section may be needed to deliver the baby. The descent of baby is less likely with two loops of cord around the neck one of which is closely applied to the neck. It is best to get a repeat scan done at 37 weeks to find out.
Right now there is no active treatment that is needed. Do continue with your prenatal vitamins and supplements.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

I know if loop is around the neck at 37 weeks then c section is required
But I n not worried about c section
But I m worried if this two loops can cause any harm to baby at this time ?
Does the report say that the loop is tight ?
I mean can these two loops cause Any harm at this time of pregnancy?
Baby movements are fine right now
Baby is fit now.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
One of the two loops is closer around the neck. It is not likely to be tight as that would have affected the baby movements. Right now we can only monitor the progress and keep a close watch on the baby movements. In case you feel that there are less than 12 movements in 12 hours then it needs medical attention and evaluation. Since the non stress test is also reactive right now the baby is perfectly fit and is getting the proper blood circulation. So, do not worry.
Hope my answer is helpful.
Do accept my answer in case there are no further queries.
Regards.

Can the baby take out the cord out of his neck ?
I mean u still have 5 weeks can baby get rid of cord till then ?
Less likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
It is less likely that the baby will get rid of two loops of cord one of which is closely applied. The chances of getting the cord out of the neck are less than 10%. A repeat scan will guide us regarding the mode of delivery.

After 4 weeks.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
A repeat scan is needed after 4 weeks or if you feel lesser baby movements on any day.
There should be atleast 10 movements per day. But counting movements the entire day is not easy. So after every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner) you can lie left lateral on bed, count your movements for one hour and mark them on a piece of paper without doing anything else in that one hour.
If in that one hour , you perceive 3 movements, they are adequate. So after every meal you should have atleast 3 movements.
You should try doing this and note the movements on a paper after every meal.
If the baby movements are adequate then a repeat scan after 4 weeks is needed.
Regards.
