What Does Positive UPT Post Medical Abortion Indicate?

Question: Hello Doc,
From the last time I spoke to you, on the 6th Feb I did the MVA because there was no fetal pole or yolk sac present from ultrasound.
However, on the 15th Feb I had sex, but used protection (condom). But just to be sure, can I still get pregnant? I took postinor 2 right after because I was real scared.
Plus I just took a pregnancy test and there was a very very faint line.
Should i be worried about being pregnant?

Hello Doc,
Thanks for such a quick response.
I am so scarred you would not believe because going through that procedure was ok but tough emotionally.
My doctor took really great care of me and his staff was real gentle.
But i am not in a position to be pregnant right now. It is just not the right time.
My question is when you say past pregnancy, how long does it take to leave your system?
Also, how long till you ovulate and when your next period might be?
And what is an excellent contraceptive without all these hormones?
I am just plain worried.
So should I take an ultrasound when to confirm all is well with me internally?
Thanks a mil doc.
I appreciate it.

Brief Answer:
Intrauterine device is best
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Copper containing intrauterine device is best for you as it is non hormonal and long lasting.
You periods are likely to resume after one month.
It takes about a month for these hormones to leave body completely.
You don't need anymore ultrasound scans.

Hello Doc,
Thanks for your advice on my concerns.
The intrauterine (copper thing) is this a removable device and are there any side effects to this?
For this to be done, do you go to a OBGYN to do this or a GP?
Is this procedure long and difficult and what is the success rate that you have seen with this method?
Thanks again Doc.
Your time and advice is greatly appreciated.
After speaking to you, I am going to try and not worry.
The reason I also forgot to mention was that there was some slight cramping and breast sensitivity so that is another reason I have been panicking.
The last ultrasound I did before the MVA indicated that I was 4 weeks along.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks again Doc.
