What Does Presence Of RBC And Protein In Urine Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
The doctor asked him to repeat the test after one month , I am a little bit worried about possible reasons so please advice ?
Nothing much to worry about.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The possible reason for urine showing RBC 2+ and Protein 1+ is: Infection of urinary tract.
Protein being 1+ is not much significant but should be watched for, I would advise you to repeat the urine as early as possible and to see if blood urea and creatinine are normal or not. If normal do not worry about it. Also 2 RBC is not much significant and may be normal if you get a repeat / review Urine test.
Also go for an ultrasonography to see for the kidneys, ureter, urinary bladder and prostate..
Was upper GI Endoscopy done to say that your son had an infection in the Esophagus? Was the infection in the pharynx or Esophagus? He must have received antibiotic for this.
What was the treatment given?
How is he now ?
I hope this helps you satisfy your query; please feel free to ask for more if you need to.

There is no Endoscopy done and diagnosis was done based on the symptoms .
We were told if symptoms not go away within few days then we should do Endoscopy .
Now are the symptoms disappeared and my son is ok and the only thing left is the urine test results .
Thanks for feedback.
Detailed Answer:
