Brief Answer: Need of higher antibiotics and examination. Detailed Answer: Hello there, Welcome to HCM, Thanks for writing to us, The residing infection in the wound attracts the white blood cells (macrophages) [which are police men of the body] to prevent the extent of the infection. The dead macrophages are released as sticky pus with coagulated blood as you said already. As Nebasulf powder (containing neomycin, sulfacetamide and bacitracin ) won’t heal every wound. In your case, there are chances of residing infection and in need of higher antibiotics. Visit your nearby surgeon and have your wound examined and get treated accordingly. Take care. Dr.surendiran.g
