What Does Redness And Bleeding From The Penile Foreskin Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 23 Apr 2015
Question: I'm 64 I have redness and what looks like peeling around the rim of my penis and blood come out of every few days. I have a foreskin that is easy to peel back as norm. The blood comes from the under side as if I have a small cut or pin prick. There is no pain other than light itching when it first started about 4 weeks ago. Today I was bursting for a pee. When I got to the toilet it was bleeding but stopped not long after. Please advise. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
This could be STI or penile cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir
I had gone through your question and I can understand your concern

Looking at history this could be any of following
STI may be associated with UTI or kidney stone
Penile cancer
urethral injury

if you can upload me a photograph, i will be able to guide you better
I would like further information like
history of diabetes or BPH(prostate disease)
Exposure to unprotected sexual intercourse

In my opinion you should consult a urologist for examination and a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin CBC Blood sugar PSA test and Urine for cultur and sensitivity test
you may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor

Have plenty of fluids and fresh fruits
maintain good hygiene
clean your penis with antiseptic soap or solution

Hope you will find my response informative and helpful please don't hesitate to ask for more clarification I will gladly answer you
