What Does Severe And Frequent Chest Pain Indicate?

Question: slow or gradual burning and/or stabbing pain in lower chest area under breast area. Comes on gradually, but eases about 5 minutes after eating something. Happens several times a day.
Brief Answer:
Acid reflux is the reason.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You have typical symptoms of acid reflux disease (GERD). When your stomach is empty, stomach acid appears in the esophagus and irritates it. Once you eat something, it kind of absorbs this acid so the symptoms are gone.
As you are gastric bypass patient, it would be good to have gastroscopy done to rule out possible ulcer.
Once it is ruled out, medicines (Omeprasole 40 mg once a day) along with diet (no fatty foods, no coffee, no chocolate, no orange juice) should help.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
